The Division is active on St Martin's College campuses in Ambleside, Carlisle and Lancaster.
- In Lancaster, its main bases
of operation are Melling and Fieldhead.
- Melling is where all the full-time members of staff have their tutorial rooms on the top floor. It's also the main
reception area for visitors to the Division, with the office of Maria Chippendale the Division Secretary centrally
located there.
- Fieldhead is the Division's main teaching base. Although it isn't large enough for all the teaching to take place
there, it's where most of the professionally related work happens in Religious and Moral Education,
and in Christian Ministry. There are notice boards there, along with wall displays and a tutorial room,
with additional terminals for access to the internet.
- At present the Ambleside activity takes the form of Religious Education within the BA (Hons) three year Teaching
Studies degree and the PGCE (flexible modular) award. Georgia Prescott acts as Divisional co-ordinator on this campus.
It has an additional collection of RE resources and a close link with the Cumbrian Development Education Centre.
- Activity at Carlisle consists of Primary Religious Education in the 3 year ITT degrees.
There is close collaboration with the CBDTI (Carlisle and Blackburn Diocesan Training Institute) whose Certificate and
Diploma Courses in Practical Theology are validated through the Division.
