In the second year of the course we do a lot of work on the subject of community. We have the opportunity to look at various sources on Community, both from a Christian and a secular viewpoint. We ask the question, ‘what makes a good community?’ and how do we see ourselves in relationship to community. Most importantly, not only do we look at the theory of community, but also we have a chance to examine community in practise. We have an opportunity both to study a working community, and also to study ourselves as students in a community setting.
